Sharon Scarborough, Author

Notes:

I think everyone believes they have a novel in them. Often reality is harder to live through than fiction is. We all know people who say, “You should write a book. Your life is so interesting.” Too often, interesting equates to sad. I’ve lived through enough sadness. I want happy endings.

***More notes:

Sometimes, writing is a reflection of some of the conclusions and observations of an author during his or her life. But if you search for things from my life in my novel, A Promise of Water, you won’t find a lot of me. At least not directly.
